History of development
Company was founded in 1962 in Busan, South Korea. At first it was a local production of roller chains for bicycles. But that same year the company already began supplying chains to the USA, Germany, Australia, Southeast Asia.
DBC began to invest actively in the development of its own technologies, capital investments, equipment and production itself. As a result, in 1973 the company obtained permission to print KS label, the Korean Standard Certificate, on the bicycle roller chain.

DBC was approved by the largest quality assurance company Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Limited and obtained ISO 9002 Quality Certification.

The company developed chains for marine diesel fuel engine. In the same year DBC launched the second chain factory in Korea.
